Are you also looking for ways to get rid of this tech addiction?

Well, you have come to the right place.

I sometimes feel like these gadgets give us way more anxiety and pressure than otherwise. And for me, it is essential to stay positive most of the time because I just can’t deal with all these worldly pressures.

Honestly, I’m glad that these mobiles and everything connect us in a way we never thought. However, it has its cons which are commonly known.

Before shedding some light on the ways of getting it rid of, I would like you to know why we need to do this.

So, let’s begin.

Reasons behind getting rid of this addiction

You know most of the reasons already but I would still restate them for you.

  • It increases anxiety levels
  • It makes us feel more pressurised.
  • It showcases fake lives.
  • It is a distraction.
  • The more time you spend, the more waste it is.
  • It causes health issues. ( weak eyesight)
  • It can also be used to spread more hatred.
  • It destroys relationships.

And the list could go on, but I had to stop somewhere.

Anyhow, now that you know the reasons, let’s get to the main topic.

6 Ways to feel from tech-addiction

Before going ahead, I would like to remind you that, we (humans) made these gadgets, and we have the power to control their usage. It is not impossible, we are in this together.

Turn Off your notifications

Number one is to always keep the unnecessary app notifications turned off. So you are not bothered by useless information.

This way, you’ll be more focussed on important information and secondly, you will be from all those marketing promotions and whatever.

Do not keep your phone close while sleeping

The next thing you need to do to avoid killing time on social media is to place your phone far away from yourself before sleeping.

The purpose is to stop you from watching all those tiktoks and whatnot early in the morning.

I know, right!! So many people start their day by checking their social media feeds.

I mean we use it so that we can open our eyes properly. I know this because I am one of them as well.

As I said, I am with you in this race.

The farther you keep, the better it is.

Uninstall apps

You have to uninstall applications that do not contribute to your growth.

I know most of the apps are for entertainment only. But then you need to realise that you cannot spend every minute of your life entertaining yourself.

There should be a specific time for that. Set your priorities straight.

Try something else

When you know you have too much time on you, try to utilise it as much as you can on things that can help you grow.

Maybe learn some skills from Youtube or Pinterest.

You can also try some non-tech activities like sketching, painting, jogging, swimming, etc.

Keep yourself busy

Honestly, on the days on which I am the busiest person, I am the happiest person ever.

You know you can feel it from inside, that you were productive today.

And I am not talking about the days when you feel pressurised to work, I am talking about the days when you feel enthusiastic to work!

The times when you come back feeling like it was the best day ever even though you are tired as well.

Am I making sense to you?

Take a day off

I know it may sound ridiculous to some of you.

A DAY WITHOUT YOUR PHONES.

You must be hating me right now. But it is what it is.

To achieve something ( let’s say Mental peace), you have to lose something( your mobile, for example).

But, believe me, if you are considering this, It will be a day full of life or boredom. Hahaha, just kidding!!

Try it out!
