Can there ever be a time when you have to not deal with anxiety, hatred, negativity, Judgements, helplessness or criticism? Honestly, I am not sure. Like you, I have also been looking for the same answer for ages. I used to feel that being positive always takes the hell out of you.

But maybe I was wrong. Does it require effort? Yes. But it is not impossible. It is achievable.

Dear reader, I will show you how you can develop a positive mindset and attract more of it. You can also check out my journey to optimism.

Thoughts become things

If I have to apply one thing, it would be this. It may not seem genuine. But thoughts become things. So, enter positively into your brain.

I read this quote in one of my favourite books ( The Secret by Rhonda Byrne) and could not stop trying that on myself. And when I did, I could see good things happening to me.

My perspective towards life changed. At first, I thought I had no control over what was happening in my life. However, the more I applied this concept, the more I felt at ease.

It made me believe that I am powerful. And I can run my life, my way.

And you know what happens when you have power over your life? You become more confident. Consequently, confidence brings out the positive in you.

All is well

If you are an Indian, you must have watched 3 Idiots. Honestly, that movie lights up the fire in so many ways.

“Everything will be well in the end, and if it’s not, it’s not the end.”

But why do we have to wait for the end to make things right? Can the journey never be more beautiful than the destination?

IT CAN!!! All you need is faith. Trust the process.

Worry less, live more!

The most important factor contributing to a positive mindset is being in the present. Living in the moment is all that it takes.

So, forget the past, forgive the sinner. Let it go and move on.

Live freely.

Don’t waste your time resenting, regretting, overthinking, stressing and not having fun.

Start having fun!

Celebrate your wins!

Why do we always plan for others’ birthday parties, graduation, anniversaries and retirements? Why not our own?

And why do we have to celebrate big things only? What about the day you learnt how to drive, your first day in high school, or you came out of a toxic relationship?

Occasions like these do not seem significant to you? Do they?

Complimenting yourself on the good deeds and celebrating each victory is so crucial. Do not limit celebrations.

Celebrate life every day. You may not wake up tomorrow.

Great things take time

Lastly, you need to develop patience!

While having patience, you need to have faith in the process. Understand that great things take time.

Honestly, I am highly impatient regarding some issues. You really can’t change things overnight, Can you?

Everything takes time. Start it and wait calmly.
