How many of you feel anxious about every little thing? It’s okay to feel anxiety but it’s not okay to feel it all the time.

Anxiety is an emotion and everyone at some time goes through it. What you should not forget is that just like any other emotion, you should go through it and come back. Because there are so many other emotions that you need to ride on.

Today, I have gathered some important tips on how to deal with anxiety. So, let’s get started!

Accept it

First of all, we need to recognise that anxiety is nothing but an emotion. So we shouldn’t be looking for ways to run from it, instead, we should be accepting it casually. At the same time, don’t stay in the emotion for a long time. Try to understand what anxiety does to you. Feel it and move on!

What impact does anxiety have on you?

After accepting anxiety as a human emotion, ask yourself if that thing which is bothering you is big enough to have a long-term impact on your life? Is it going to make a difference? Is it going to play a significant role?

No, right? Then why do you have to stress about it?

Honestly, when it comes to me, I just ask myself whether this thing is going to matter to me in 5 years or not? If the answer is NO, I hardly care.

Blessing Jar

Some people are always optimistic, and then there are ones who are always pessimistic. You don’t have to be either.

All you need for a healthy lifestyle is a blessing jar. It reminds me of a saying “Every day may not be a good day. But there’s something good in every day”.

With the help of the blessing jar, you can make your blessings count. To do so, every night before bed, you need to write at least one thing that made you happy during the day. It can be anything. Once you start doing this every day, your outlook would change. Gradually, your perception of the world will change

After some time, you’ll be having a lot of notes in the blessing jar. So, now whenever you feel anxious, or something upsets you, you pick up a not from the blessing jar and read out loud. You’ll realise how happy you have been all this time. Be grateful. Be thankful for the little things in life.
